As the first professional marketing team in company history, the first hurdle was to build understanding and buyin around the purpose of marketing. Within the first 90 days, I developed the marketing manual and style guide, presented to the company and the board of directors, and got approval from executive leadership.
Next steps were a comprehensive brand audit, website rebuild, and CRM transition.
